Arrived at Zion on Thursday to beautiful weather, sunny and temperatures in the high 70’s. Zion is a very busy park fill with lots of visitors. All the campgrounds within 20 miles of the park were full. Stayed at the KOA in Hurricane Utah.
The park is beautiful with wonderfully colored peaks of sandstone and beautiful canyons.
Had a nice hike to the bottom of Kolob Canyon, the hike took a couple hours.

Another nice day with sun and some clouds. Not a lot of movement of wildlife today, but no the less a nice day.
Leaving Yellowstone tomorrow, but not before I try to get a nice sunrise at Swan Lake Flats.
Here are a few photos from today.

Sunday was another wonderful day in the park. Also drove to the Tetons to see if I could see the Grizzly again. It has bee hanging around Pilgrim Creek for quite a while. I was lucky enough to see her again, but to far away for good photos. But it was still a nice experience to see her foraging before hibernation.
Monday was misty and rainy all day and into the night. Temperatures started out around 28 in the morning and topped out about 40. Lots of low clouds covering the mountains. I was able to get a few photos driving through Firehole Canyon drive.
Tomorrow forecast is for warmer temperatures and some sun. Hopefully everything will be moving and I’ll be able to get a few nice opportunities for photos. I still haven’t seen any wolfs though they are around, just not moving much during the day. Maybe tomorrow I get lucky enough to see one.
Here are a few photos from the past two days.

Another good day, finally got a decent photo of a Big Horn Sheep Ram as well as a nice Bull Elk. The weather was great, chilly mornings but nice warm sunny afternoons. Park was very busy today with lots of visitors.

After a 3 1/2 day drive in the motorhome, finally arrived at Yellowstone. Camping at Yellowstone campground in Gardiner, MT. The campground is on the river with wonderful views, and full hookup this late in the season is a plus.
I think I could spend a few years here. Yellowstone is one of my favorite National Parks.

We have been in Michigan for the past 5 months and haven’t posted anything since we have been here. We took care of some issues with our car and Motorhome, but all is fixed and ready to roll now.
We made a trip to Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio in August so here are a few photos we took during our trip
